Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)

It is a protocol that is used for automatic recognition of routers in TCP/IP network. OSPF works in a similar way as RIP, meaning that the routers can change the information about the networks they can access.

Open Systems Interconnections (OSI)

The OSI Model is a reference model developed to accommodate the communication between computers to a standard and to eliminate the communication problem that arises as a result of inter-standard mismatch.

The OSI standard model consists of 7 layers:
