Proxy
Proxy server or Authorized Server. It is an intermediate server used for accessing the Internet.
For example:
The browser connects to the proxy server and tells you which page you want
The proxy server connects to that page and retrieves the contents if necessary
The proxy server sends the content to the browser
API
API is an interface provided by an application that shares its capabilities so that an application’s capabilities can be used in another application. The HTTP API if this app on HTTP authentication ability. The Http API is the ability of this application to authenticate over HTTP.
1) Firstly, click the Identity Provider Definitions, under the Authentication Rules menu.
2) Click “Add” button is choose HTTP api and necessary configurations are define.

Username Variable |
Enter Username Variable. For example: studentNum |
Password Variable |
Enter user Password Variable. For example: studentPassword |
Response Data |
“Authentication” by type, the information incoming from the server is written. |
Successful Response Code |
When verification is complete contains the relevant message. For example: True |
3) Http (Api) is assigned to that service if validation related to which service is done on the page of Verification Rules.
4) For testing, click to the Authentication Test page.
Since the for Hotspot service has been assigned the Authentication method Hotspot are selected. After entering the username and password registered on the server, the Verify button are clicked.
