IPsec VPN

IPsec VPN Encryption: AES, CAMELLIA, NULL_ENC, SERPENT, TWOFISH

AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) is the most widely used encryption algorithm today, providing strong security.
CAMELLIA is an encryption algorithm offering high security and efficient performance, suitable for both military and commercial use.
NULL_ENC performs no encryption and is used for unencrypted data transmission, offering speed but weak security.
SERPENT is an alternative to AES and provides very high security.
TWOFISH is a predecessor to AES, using 128-bit block encryption with a balance between security and performance.

Authentication: MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA384, SHA512, AES

MD5 (Message Digest Algorithm 5) generates a 128-bit digest but is largely deprecated due to known vulnerabilities.
SHA1 (Secure Hash Algorithm 1) produces a 160-bit digest but is also considered weak against modern attacks.
SHA256, SHA384, and SHA512 are part of the SHA-2 family, producing stronger 256-bit, 384-bit, and 512-bit hashes, respectively.
AES can also be used for encrypted authentication, providing both encryption and data integrity.

WildCard ID Support

Allows identity authentication in VPN connections using wildcard IDs, covering all sub-identities matching a pattern. This provides greater flexibility in authentication.

NAT Traversal Support

NAT Traversal (NAT-T) ensures proper transmission of VPN traffic in networks using Network Address Translation (NAT), overcoming potential issues NAT might cause with VPN connections.

PKI - Public Key Infrastructure Support

PKI provides secure authentication and communication using digital certificates and private keys through public key encryption methods.

PSK - Pre Shared Key Support

PSK is a method of authentication using a shared key pre-agreed upon by both parties, often used for simpler and lower-cost VPN setups.
