Authentication Methods

Mernis

Uses the Central Civil Registration System (MERNIS) for identity verification of citizens of the Republic of Türkiye.

SMS

Sends a one-time verification code to the user’s mobile phone via SMS to verify their identity.

Local User

Authentication is performed using pre-defined local user credentials in the system, typically used for offline or non-network access.

HTTP (API)

Provides authentication via API calls through web applications, used for API-based integrations.

LDAP

Provides authentication through a centralized directory service using the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), commonly used with Active Directory.

RADIUS

Uses the Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) protocol for user authentication, authorization, and accounting.

POP3/IMAP

Uses the POP3 or IMAP protocols to authenticate users via email servers.

SSO: Negotiate Kerberos – Active Directory

Enables single sign-on (SSO) through centralized authentication using the Kerberos protocol and Active Directory integration.

TACACS+

Uses the Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus (TACACS+) protocol for user authentication, authorization, and accounting on network devices.
