Service Definitions

Dos / Flood Mitigation, QoS rules, Security Rules, Policy-Based Routing(PBR), DMZ Access, Static NAT Access, NAT by Destination, SSH Control and Honeypot Settings define the services to use when writing policy.

Service Definitions

There are 80 predefined categories that come in the default service definitions. It cannot be deleted or edited by the user. Service definitions created by the user can be edited and deleted later.

Service Definitions - New Records

After the name, category and description are written in the service definitions that will be added later, one or more members of different protocols can be added.

Note: when a new service category is added, When you type the category you want to add and press enter, the new service category will be created when the service definition is saved.

Service Profiles

You can assign multiple service definitions to a profile and define the rules in which service definitions are used.
